 Hello, My name is Cheri Peters, and you may call me Cheri. Those who have been around me a lot know I like the word smile. It's the kind of word that not only affects you when you do it, but it also affects everyone around you. There was a time in my life when I didn't smile--I couldn't. But praise God for His untiring love and endless pursuit; I'm smiling again.
A few years ago, while sitting in church, someone asked me if I would share my testimony on how I came to know God. I was hesitant. If they found out my true background, would they want me in their church? But the request kept coming, so I shared with my congregation how I came to know our Saviour. Since then, more request have come in. I was surprised, "why would anyone want to hear the lurid details of my past?". Then I realized, it was not those awful experiences that people were focusing on, it was the testimony of the power of God to reach down to those whom Satan had chained to his will, and God had set free. Praise God!
 God has put a burden on me to help young people who have lost sight of the meaning of love in their lives, and have accepted the dillusions of Satan. To this I have committed my life. And for this reason True Step Ministires, Inc. exists. To do this work takes financial resources. We raise money for True Step Ministries through various means. If you go to the event calendar page you can see the extensive speaking schedule I have. Money earned from speaking engagements help support True Step Ministries.
Pacific Press Publishing, one of our corporate sponsors, has printed a book about my life and part of the proceeds from the sale of the book go to fund our organization. Pacific Press Publishing has even  posted the first chapter of my book Miracle from the Streets on the internet. They are a Christian publishing house in Boise, Idaho. They have given me tremendous support for our Teen Ministry and are dedicated to publishing value oriented Christain reading material and videos.
3ABN (also known as 3 Angels Broadcasting Network), is a Christian ministry that broadcasts qaulity family oriented television programming throughout the world.
